Use the service responsibly

Submit only videos you are permitted to process. Do not submit private or sensitive material, bypass access restrictions, automate abusive requests or use the service to infringe another person’s rights.

Transcripts and accuracy

Transcripts may contain errors. Verify important quotations, names and timestamps against the original video. Processing a video does not transfer ownership of its content or grant additional rights to reuse it.

Limits and availability

Request limits and a shared service allowance apply. AI generation, when enabled, supports videos up to 10 minutes, with two starts and 20 minutes per browser per UTC day. Existing captions use separate request limits. We may pause new requests when the shared allowance or a service dependency is unavailable.

A task with an uncertain supplier outcome will not be automatically submitted again. Its allowance stays reserved while the outcome is checked. Confirmed processing failures return the daily user allowance; an empty speech result currently retains it. Saved transcript text is available for 24 hours.
